Thanks for taking the time to visit this website and galleries.

Having retired from dentistry a few years ago, I have been able to pursue another avocation,  photography.   A quick Google search reveals that there are 1.81 trillion photos taken every year, or 57,246 per second.  The world doesn't need another photographer or photograph, but I still find it fascinating that each image is unique to the photographer and the moment it was made.

While all of the many facets of imaging are intriguing to me, it is the art of photography that is the most interesting.  I hope the images in this gallery show the art of the moments they were taken.

When not traveling, my wife Shirley and I can be found in the mountains of Georgia, always enjoying the beauty that is all around us.
